Here are more pups at the PSPCA that really need a home! If you know anyone looking for a new furry family member, please pass this on to them.
We will start with an awesome dog who is somewhat of a local celebrity… Meringue…
Meringue was featured on Good Day Philadelphia with Jen Utley, wife of Chase Utley. Check on Meringue’s television debut…
AND she was included in Bounce’s 15 Most Loveable Pets contest, which you can view by clicking HERE! Another available pup, Baby, is also Loveable contestant. Here is Baby if you missed her in the past post…
A very cute fluffball named Dany…
A beautiful, energetic guy named Marshmallow…
The sweetest, mellow older man… Otis Redding…
And this girl, who stole my heart. Her name is Sparkles. She is a Mastiff that is around 10yrs old. She came from a neglect situation which is heartbreaking. But even though she was treated poorly, she is so loving and calm. As I walked the aisle she stood up to the gate and rested her head on top, glancing in my direction with those sweet brown eyes. I approached her and petted her head. Her eyes slowly closed as she enjoyed the attention and love for a few minutes. How I hope that someone gives her the loving home that she deserves…
Kim Wolf - These doggies are so sweet and your pictures of incredible! I had Dany (the black poodle mix) at an adoption event in Manayunk last week and he was hilarious strutting up and down Main Street. He’s shy in the shelter, but once he’s out in the “real world” he comes to life! Everyone wanted to stop and pet him!
Marshmallow is (the white terrier mix) is another one of my favorites. We took him to a Mardi Gras event in Old City a couple weeks ago and he was a PARTY ANIMAL! To celebrate Fat Tuesday, we gave him a fuzzy beer bottle (a dog toy, of course!) and he went to town on it. When he was finished, he rolled over on his back and took a snooze — right there in the middle of the sidewalk! It was hilarious! He’d be perfect for someone looking for a running partner AND a snuggling companion.
Thanks for all your work, April!! You are very talented and the animals appreciate your efforts 🙂
