Photographing dogs can be hard! Particularly if you have a dog that is inattentive, unbribeable, and tirelessly energetic. Things do not always go as planned. But that’s ok. Who needs plans anyway? This pup’s mama was worried that her feisty little chihuahua would not cooperate for the shoot. The solution? Put her up on a chair… Captive subjects are so much easier to photograph. Please do not leave your pet unattended though, as they may not recognize that it’s dangerous to jump from a chair, stool, table, etc. Safety first. Molly’s mama was right outside of the frame, just in case…
Stephanie - The chair must be the universal savior for pet photographers. I had to do the same thing when I shot a 3 month old Frenchie. Chairs are the best. Super cute shot of Molly 🙂
