Meet Ella. The thing that I loved most about her session was getting to see her family again. I photographed both of her sisters as newborns, it was fun to get to see them as new big sisters.
I’m often asked if older siblings always cooperate for sessions and the answer to that is definitely no! I’d say that more often than not, older siblings don’t want to sit still for photos and many times don’t want any part of being near their new baby brother or sister. I included a couple funny ones of Josie during the family photo portion. It’s real life. I always include those photos that may be considered outtakes because they usually end up being my favorites.
