I got to meet this sweet little nugget before her photo session… I went to Bryn Mawr hospital when she was only two days old to video her for the Fresh 48 Film. I love that I got to document her and her family in both video and photos… It’s such a special time when you bring home a new baby, but such a whirlwind. I adore this family and love that I’ve gotten to capture so many important parts of their lives… From the first time that I photographed them many years ago when their babies were not human babies but 2 Boston terriers (you can see the session here: http://www.aprilziegler.com/phoebe-and-blackie-two-boston-terriers-philadelphia-pet-photography ), to getting to document Fiona’s first year, to getting to photograph them as a family of four with their newest addition, Eliza. They came into my Collegeville studio when Eliza was six days old, and though things are certainly a little more chaotic with a toddler AND a newborn, it was fun to document this beautiful and busy time in their lives…
