Mary contacted me to get some photos of their bulldog… totally my thing… Out of curiosity I just counted and Lilly is the 11th bulldog that I’ve gotten to shoot this year. (The 12th is waiting on deck, you’ll get to meet him in tomorrow’s blog post.) Oh yeah, and she wanted to get some shots of her three teenagers too. Teenagers. I admit that the thought scared me a bit. I imagined loud-mouthed, uncooperative teens that thought that getting their picture taken was lame but begrudgingly agreed to cooperate under threats from their mother. As soon as I met Mary’s family, I breathed a sigh of relief. They were totally awesome! And sweet. And agreeable with all my silly ideas. I loved it. Thank you guys for sharing a fun morning with me!
Do not look closely at the graffitti. There were some very artistic drawings of male anatomy that I didn’t realize until after we started shooting there.
Meet Lily. She happens to be deaf, which proved my typical absurd noises and squeaker toys that I bring to shoots worthless. But it doesn’t seem to affect her in the least. She happily trotted her way around the park, tongue hanging out the side of her mouth in her standard adorable fashion…
Tish Mackay - Love the color you bring out in the pics. 🙂
Samantha Ergins - The three tenenagers are so beautiful, and their dog is really cute too. Mary is very lucky to have such a good looking family.
christine - love these! that lost shot is priceless. 🙂
Mary - I love the first picture, his eyes look like they tell his story. Very intense.
