My heart was broken this week to hear of the loss of Dawkins. I’ve photographed the Boland family several times over the past few years, beginning with the session below. I loved this session. Dawkins is the kind of dog that just feels like an old soul. Since then, I’ve gotten to know Tara better and admire her dedication to rescue. She volunteers at the Brandywine Valley SPCA in West Chester and her love of dogs shines. (We also have her to thank for our newest addition, Mango the orange cat, since she was sweet enough to venture into the kitten room to watch out for any orange tabby rescues.) She brings so much happiness to dogs that need it. My thoughts are with you, Tara, Robb, and Griffin, during this difficult time.
