I remember the session well, though it was over 5 years ago. We had just gotten a record-breaking snowfall and the pups loved being outside in the snow, despite the cold. Roxi, at 3 years old, was a complete diva. And Lulu Belle, at 5 years old was sweet and shy, always wanting to be right by Dina’s side. They are both standard poodles but their personalities were as contrasting as their fur colors. I loved the session. And I got to see them again two years later when I photographed Dina’s (non-furry) baby boy. Last week, Dina had to say goodbye to her Lulu Belle. They had 10 years together… 10 years that contained many trying times and beautiful memories with Lulu Belle as the constant, by her side…
