We recently completed the last of Austin’s Baby Plan sessions by celebrating him turning one year old and having a first birthday cake smash. Austin has been a dream to photograph this past year. He’s such a happy baby, and SO expressive. I’ve included some series below of his expressions that I just couldn’t leave out because they made me laugh.
If you’ve been to this blog before, you’ve probably seen me mention how much I love the Baby’s First Year Plan. But if not, here’s the deal… The Baby’s First Year Plan includes three sessions: a newborn session when baby is 5 – 14 days old, a sitter session when baby starts sitting on their own around 6 – 8 months, and a one year session with a cake smash. It’s always incredible to see how much they change in that year. I love being able to document how they go from teeny tiny new babies to walking, talking toddlers. It’s a huge milestone, not only for the babies but for the parents too. Surviving that first year of parenthood is definitely cause for celebration!
