Today is only one short month away from the start of spring. And every year, to welcome spring, Rita’s Water Ice gives away free water ice. But this year will be different. Because this year Rita’s will not only have it’s standard flavors that we all know and love, it will be offering a brand new PEEPS Italian ice. And if you’d like to spice it up, you could spring for a Peeps Chocolate Covered Gelati, a Peeps Chocolate Covered Misto, or a Peeps Pie Blendini. I have admitted my love of Peeps in the past, so I was naturally excited about this new partnership. I admit, I am a bit skeptical though. I’m not quite sure how the two will mix. I plan on testing it out, and will report my findings. If you’d like to try it for yourself, make sure you head to Rita’s between March 20 and April 4, as that’s the only time it’ll be offered. Also, head in on March 27 and if you’re one of the first 500 customers at that location, you’ll receive a free chocolate covered marshmallow chick… a brand new product that Peeps is debuting this year. Peeps + chocolate… just can’t be bad!
