A friend of mine helps foster cats for this wonderful local rescue, Stray Cat Blues. They are a small but dedicated group who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for abandoned cats. This past year was a tough year for many, and the rescue has felt the effects as well. Currently, there is a program sponsored by Care2, who will donate a total of $25,000 to the local animal shelters and rescue groups who receive the most votes.
