We are so glad we chose April for our son’s newborn session in July 2013. Being a lover of photography, and then of course seeing her great work with animals we were sold. We have 2 dogs and 2 kids, and our pictures turned out wonderfully. April was incredibly patient with a very non-cooperative newborn, and a sassy 2 1/2 year old as well. She took her time ( she was at our house for a little over 4 hours), and was great with both kids. When it came time to feed the baby, she took my daughter out back to play and got some great action shots of her. She was more than patient (she’s a mom herself so she gets it!), and was so sweet the whole time. She worked in our few requests, and was very accommodating about the time and day of the shoot itself. We have some great pics of all of us with the dogs, and those are probably my favs as we never have anyone take a whole family photo.
