Last weekend Jen + Rich got married on a day that could not have been more perfect. It was hot, no doubt about that, but we were able to retreat into their reception at the Phoenixville Foundry to cool off in between taking photos. The Foundry is one of the hottest, new venues. Not only is it an incredible building, but it’s location in downtown Phoenixville is perfect… there are innumerable fantastic spots for photos. But let’s start with a photo from the ceremony… Pretty excited to be married, don’t you think?
As we were walking around Phoenixville, this old house caught my eye… I love the iron fence and the classic look to the house. Granted, it’s not in the best condition. But it has character. As I had them stand in front of it, a random guy walked by and made some snarky comments about taking wedding photos in front of an ugly, run-down, old house. His words, not mine. Jen quickly responded with, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” That’s my girl. 🙂 Take this, snarky dude… I’m pretty happy with how this turned out…
Love a fun bridal party… Particularly one that can get some AIR!!!
A little cake… before and after action…
A huge thank you to Ashley Bartoletti for joining me for the day… some of the fabulous shots that you’ll see from this wedding are hers!
Sarah Postma - Best. Jumping. Shot. Ever. You rock, April!
Li Ward - THE JUMPING SHOT!!!!
claire - whoa that shot in front of the dance mural = AMAZING
Emily - April, your images are always so beautiful. The one in front of the old house is perfect, and I LOVE the jumping bridal party!!
Kim - These are AWESOME April! (especially since they were taken less than a mile from my house!) I drive by that house almost every day and now I’ll look at it a little differently! Actually I think I remember seeing an entire wedding party walking down Bridge street a little bit ago and I’m guessing it was all you guys! I hope you share more!
ashley folkema - The bridge shot…amazing! Gorgeous April!
