As I was organizing photos for upcoming Daily Dog posts, I realized that I never blogged this full session! And while it’s long, LONG overdue… I can’t resist sharing it. Because it’s really cute. And we could all use some Corgis in our lives, especially on a Monday.

Stephanie and Jose had a destination wedding, but they really wanted to be able to include their pups, Starfox and Seren, in photos. Since the Corgis couldn’t tag along to the Dominican Republic, we got together after they returned to do some photos of them as a family. I adored this session. And was so honored to do it because Stephanie is a pet photographer herself… There’s no greater compliment than being hired to do a fellow photographer’s photos. This was the second time that I’ve gotten to photograph this adorable family (you can see his 5 month session HERE!) and this was a big milestone… Matthew turned one! We did photos at their home in Swedesboro, New Jersey… I loved getting to document some things around their home and then we headed to the downtown area and walked around for a bit. The second part of the session was done at the studio, where Matthew was skeptical of the cake but loved the maracas. This was Owen’s second session in the Baby’s First Year Plan and it was crazy to see how much he’d grown since his newborn session when he was a teeny little 9-day old. And as much as I love to get to document how much babies change over their first year, I also love to get to see the developing relationship that they have with their siblings. Emma was a little hesitant around Owen during his newborn session. But this time… it was all hugs! No holds barred type of hugs that only toddlers can get away with…
