I’ve known Ashley’s family forever, since her cousin is my bestest friend. And this is a crazy exciting time for them all… lots of engagements, weddings, and babies. Of course I was thrilled when she asked me to shoot their engagement photos. They are getting married next month (holy, SOON!) on the beach in New Jersey. And we all know that I’m a huge fan of beach weddings. For their engagement session, we met up at Skippack Village and explored a bit before heading to a nearby park. Ashley + Joe were game for anything that I suggested, even if it meant standing by a public restroom, sneaking onto a restaurant patio, or laying in the wet grass. 🙂 You guys rock!

Ashley is pretty dang cute…

What I love most about this shot:  Ash standing on her toes to reach Joe since he’s quite a bit taller than her. (I know the feeling, girl!) Made me smile the first time I saw it…

In between moments. The unscripted moments that happen in between the smiling and posing for the camera when I’m able to capture something truly real.

I love this. Maybe because I know that moments like this between a mother and her teenage son are sometimes hard to come by…

I recently had a record-breaking session with one of Philadelphia’s best dog trainers, Marisa Scully. She is building a new website and needed images… so who better to showcase than her very own clients. You’d think that a session with so many dogs would be hectic, but it was fantastic to work with such well-trained pups!

This little guy, Dante, won me over immediately. Every time I would sit on the ground to get a shot, he would jump right up in my lap. What a sweetheart…

Super will wait patiently until he’s given the sign for hugs… Impressive, no?

The pictures are fantastic which I already knew but I absolutely loved how you put such personal touches to it all. That was so sweet the bag of dog treats for Jersey and she says thanks.
