So today, on what feels like the 100th straight day of rain, we decided to do something that we haven’t done in years… go bowling! To clarify, Kev and my Mom bowled… and I took photos. Bowling just isn’t my thing, and quite honestly it gets depressing when you lose EVERY single game. So I brought my camera along to occupy myself and we all had a good time. In case you’re wondering… yes, that is my husband in the photo taken above. And no, he was not embarrassed to wear that outfit…
The next shot is my Mom, tearing up the bowling alley. Look at those pins jumping out of the way…
I don’t remember the last time I saw the sun. It’s getting ridiculous… this rain just WILL. NOT. STOP. In an effort to substitute some sunshine into my life, I’m posting a couple images from our recent trip to Florida (which, by the way, shows a current weather report of mostly sunny and 93 degrees… so not fair!). Clear blue skies are like a distant memory at this point…
Stay tuned for another fun little giveaway, expected next week!

Angus is such a classic bulldog… a big ball of love! I just love him, and it’s evident how much his parents do too. He was a trooper during our session. If you have a bulldog, then you know that they are not big fans of hot weather. The heat and humidity was a bit too much for him the day of our session so we had to venture outside in intervals and retreat to the air conditioning when we sawย poor Angus’ tongue start dragging. You’d never know it by his photos though…
If you want to see the Angus slideshow, click HERE! Turn on the speakers and watch. It’ll make you smile. I promise. ย
This is one of my FAVORITES! He jumped up on the bench and made himself comfortable…
A regal portrait… He looks quite distinguished here, don’t you think?
Aaaaand, he’s over it…

Recently a client contacted me to do a photo session of her bulldog as a wedding gift for her soon-to-be husband. I was flattered. And thrilled. Even moreso when I heard that she wanted me to create this card for her to give him on their wedding day…
I snapped a couple photos of the card before I sent it off. From what I hear, the groom was quite happy with his wedding gift and card. Who couldn’t love this sweet face…

Today’s Monster Monday post will be substituted with an equally adorable Boston Terrier that I got to meet last weekend… Molly. She’s the most friendly little girl and loves everyone… except my camera. Turns out that Molly is a bit camera shy. We did what we could not to terrify her, but even steak could not convince her that the camera is not that bad. We got a lot of this expression… ย
But I have to reassure Molly’s moms… Even though she made me work for it, we ended up with plenty of rockin shots. Like this…
And by the end of the session, she had warmed up to the idea of being a model. Some cheese even earned us a little EYE CONTACT! Woot!!
