Dexter is a happy and energetic boy with parents that clearly love everything about him. And when they told me that he does a trick called ‘get sexy’, I knew that I would love him too…
To see more of Dexter in all his glory, watch his slideshow HERE!
Can you tell how much he loves running free?
Tim and Leslie brought a surprise accessory for Dexter to wear during his shoot. I sure like surprises…

This little girl just turned one and we got together to document this milestone. Kiley is a doll, and I loved to see how much her parents absolutely adore her. I think this photo says it all…
Love that smile! And that dress… so cute!
The thing that I love most about TJ is that he just LOVES everyone. It doesn’t matter if he’s known you for minutes or years… he’s your friend. Even though some people are intimidated by his size, TJ is a big snugglebuddy. I fell in love with him when, not ten minutes after arriving for our session… I was sitting on the floor with him, petting him, and he fell right asleep with his head resting on my leg. Now that’s a sweet dog.
You can more of TJ’s session by watching the slideshow HERE! And if you want to visit TJ, he can be found most days at his owners fabulous floral and design store in Northern Liberties… Beautiful Blooms.
How funny how he sits with his paw curled up under his head…
Gotta love a good nose shot…
Yes, he’s a city dog…

Two weeks ago we were packing for a trip that felt strangely reminiscent of the trip we were preparing for almost three years ago. Except instead of stuffing our suitcases full of wedding gear, this time we were stuffing it full of photography gear.
We landed on the island and were greeted with the most beautiful stretch of clear blue water that I have ever seen. As I breathed in the warm Jamaican air, I began to fill with a feeling of overwhelming gratitude… and I began to tear up on a shuttle bus full of strangers as it weaved wildly along the roads. Grateful to have discovered the passion that has provided me with such unbelievable opportunities and has connected me with some amazing people. Grateful that I have friends and clients as awesome as Rachel + Chris, who trust me to document one of the most important days of their lives. Grateful to have a strong family, and mothers who do more for us than I could ever list. Grateful for my husband and the way that he loves me… He is my support when I doubt, and my swift kick in the ass when I need it most. For the many adventures we’ve shared and the many more to come…
When I found out that my friend Jodie was planning on naming her little girl Chloe, I warned her. You see, I have a Chloe myself that happens to be a bit of a handful. I told her that if there’s something with the name, she’s going to be in for a wild ride. She said that they were anticipating a wild ride, regardless of the name. She’s lucky because her Chloe is precious and calm and doesn’t snore nearly as loudly as mine…
