Kev stopped at our local greenhouse to pick up a few plants to add some color to our garden. This one is my favorite, it’s a firecracker plant. I thought we could all use a little bit of color on this stormy Saturday night I hope this is a passing storm… I have a session tomorrow morning with an 8 month old bulldog that I’ve been very much looking forward to!
   Just a quick shot of Lucy, looking like a hot mess, before her haircut. It’s almost embarassing to post this. I swear, I do brush her. But as soon as I comb out her beard, she sticks her face into the water bowl and drags her beard along the ground. I think it’s intentional… HAPPY FRIDAY!

It took three reschedules due to the nasty June weather + an illness, but I was finally able to get together for Chase’s six month… now more like seven month… photos. It was worth the wait because we ended up with a beautiful day and this…

This little chihuahua was definitely the tiniest little dog that I’ve ever photographed. And despite her size, she’s a feisty little thing. Riley was timid at first, but with the help of some treats she warmed up a bit… though still refused to leave her mama’s side for much more than a minute. It was sweet to watch her wander away for a few seconds, always aware of where Jenna was so that she didn’t stray too far. Her fiercely loyal nature is as endearing as her disproportionately large ears and her pedicured hot pink toenails…
I love this shot because it shows just how tiny Riley is. She has to hop through the grass since, as you can tell, it goes up almost completely over her legs…
