Rachel + Chris had an amazing rehearsal dinner before their destination wedding in Jamaica. Beaches Negril did an unbelievable job setting up something special for them and their guests in a private palapa on the beach at sunset. Talk about perfect!!

I started the year off right by photographing two weiner dogs! Dachshunds have long been on my list of dogs I’d like to shoot, so this session was much anticipated. Even more so when I learned that one of them is named Terminator. Ha. I’m hoping that this session will be the coldest one of the year… When we started the temperature read 16 degrees. Freezing!! Thank goodness that Santa brought me UnderArmour this year! We bundled up and braved the cold… Even the pups wore their jackets…

This, my friends, is Terminator…

And this spunky little girl is Molly…

She’s been through a lot of hard times. And he’s been by her side. Her constant. Her unconditional support. The one that she snuggles with at night and smiles at in the morning. Her dog… Rocky. When she first contacted me she explained that while she has millions of photos of him alone, what she really wants are photos of them. Together. I hope that I was able to do justice to their very special bond.
