Athleticism is their common denominator. It was an athletics related injury that drove Liz to a physical therapists office. Doug’s office. And what started as appointments, soon became bike rides, walks, movies, and dinner. The way that he cares for her is so sweet. It was at the finish line of a 75-mile bike ride that Doug got down on one knee and promised to always take care of Liz.

We met in Old City, Philadelphia on one cloudy Sunday morning, for their engagement session. And we had a blast. Below are some of my favorites, but you’ll have to watch the slideshow to see all the fun… CLICK HERE!!!

P.S.  Congrats Liz, on your upcoming graduation!! I can’t wait to see you guys again in October!

  • ashley folkema - So sweet! Your composition with each shot makes me smile.

Gunther and Kayla were both adopted from the PSPCA. Kelli saw Gunther, fell in love, and brought him home. After a few months of Gunther tiring out the other pups in doggy daycare, Kelli decided that Gunther needed a playmate, so she adopted a sister for him… Kayla…

Kelli mentioned how Gunther smiles big for the camera… Look at this puppy grin…

Gunther has these cute little webbed feet…

  • Shauna (Fido & Wino | R.O.A.R. Squad) - Gorgeous- yeah for rescues!

Sometimes I get an inquiry and know immediately that I will adore the couple. Katie e-mailed me the day after they got engaged! They were planning to move out of state in 5 weeks and wanted to get their engagement photos taken in Philadelphia… the city where they met and fell in love.

I love, love, love Katie’s ring… It’s a pearl and was designed by Darren. So unique.

Ummm, how cute are you guys?? 🙂

  • Allison - I love that first shot – such a beautiful ring! Love the pearl 🙂

  • Emily - What a beautiful ring – very unique! Love these images.

Last weekend was hot. Very, very hot. Fortunately, I have rad clients that are willing to pack a cooler full of water in order to brave the heat and humidity for their session. And pups have the benefit of never looking sweaty for the camera. It works. Meet Cole, the chocolate lab, and Chelsea, the yellow lab. This session is a surprise for a certain someone… so if you happen to know these pups…. ssssshhhhhh…..

  • Meredith Perdue - Nothing makes me happier than see cute photos of multiple happy labs! Great images, April!
